"New media and public opinion" Seminar at Ajman University

College of Mass Communication and Humanities at Ajman University hosted a seminar entitled “ New media and Public Opinion” on campus. The speakers were renowned media personalities Safia Al Shehhi and Noureddin Al Yousuf who were welcomed by Dr. Emad Eddin, Head of Media Department at the College.

The event was attended by faculty members, students and staff. Ms. Safia is known for being a presenter for the Reading program at Abu Dhabi and has been awarded as the best media personality in promoting reading.

She emphasized during her speech on the importance of media to be conversant with the target audience, and do not underestimate the audience who follow the program and deal with them cautiously and intelligently in order to satisfy and justify their attention to the program.

The media Noureddine Al Yousuf provider "Dardashat" program and winning the best announcer in the Gulf region in the year 2013. He stressed the need for public study of the needsand presence of public opinion. 

He pointed out that the media 's success in television programs is not evidence of his success as an influence on the social networking sites, and vice versa, citing some of the influencers in the social networking sites who have failed to provide TV programs. 

At the end of the seminar, Dr. Emad Eddin presented appreciation certificates to the two guests for their expertise and presence.
